With her eyes wide, Freya heard a crisp voice outside the door.

“Radley, are you there?”

It was Danna’s voice!

Freya’s big eyes were filled with caution, but Radley’s expression softened in an instant as he strode toward the door.

Freya felt her heart sink as she watched his figure.

A strange pain that pierced her nerves went straight into her head.

When Radley opened the door. Danna was standing outside, smiling brightly. She looked surprised when she saw Freya in the room. The brilliant smile soon turned into a triumphant one.

“Freya, why are you still here after you’ve been abandoned by Radley? Are you not embarrassed?”
