Chapter 67: 67. The Reception

D's PoV

We are now in Trichy. My dad called my uncle last week, the day after I came home from Achu's home. He wanted to give a reception for our wedding in Trichy. All his friends and their family wanted to see us. Uncle said ok and we all agreed to this day.

We were so unlucky that the very next day we resolved our differences, I had my menstrual cycle. It would be like 5days for me. The next day it was over, we started here. My poor hubby is all gloomy. He would always come to me and say,

We did nothing more than cuddling. I'm eager too. After coming to Trichy, my evil sisters asked me to sleep with them as they missed me so much. I bragged about my talents in sweeping my hubby off his feet to my mom and sisters. I deserve an award. I did it in 2months when I asked for 3months.

We are now getting ready for our reception. The hotel is near our home. My sisters booked their own beautician. They are glamming up. My phone pings continuously letting me know that my hubby is impatiently waiting.

All my friends have come. My home looks like a girl’s hostel. All my friends who are boys went straight to the hotel. Atlast, we all were ready and set out of our house. My dad, Rishi, Aakash anna, Perippa, Uncle, Ravi and all other guys were already at the hotel. Karthik has come with his dad and mom. I already suspected my sis. Dakshu has a cheesy smile and a tense face! 

Shanu is with a full blown smile. Ravi is just winning my dad. He stuck to my dad like glue, helping him in all arrangements for the past 3days we are here. My mom is not so sharp in finding clues. But my dad is. I'm afraid for them. If they get caught now, then everything will become a tedious task. I hope Ravi just stays subtle and doesn't overdo things. The reception went well. We were really tired. After everyone went, only family were there in the hall.

"Guna, I'm so happy. Shall I ask you something?" Uncle asked dad.

"Tell me, Raja,  I'm happy too. Everything went well."

"Will you give your second daughter to my second son? I will rest. I don’t know where else I will get a good daughter in law just like my first daughter in law!"
