“Yup,” Cooper replied over the phone.

Nathalia and Genevieve had such different personalities that even if Cooper tried to lie, those who had interacted with Genevieve before would see through him.

Moreover, since he also needed Yuvan to look after Nathalia, he decided to be honest.

That one word of acknowledgment was enough to send Yuvan—a man who could shut himself in his studio for two whole months while still maintaining his peace—into a state of unease, and he stared at Nathalia in disbelief.

He thought back to when he had bumped into her at the bar that night. I thought she just had a change in character after getting a new haircut.

The man had never expected her to have dissociative identity disorder.

Meanwhile, despite Harry being a part of the Homptons—a family involved in politics for its past three generations—he certainly didn't look like a typical government official's son.

This man had just reached adulthood earlier in January. Tall and slender, he had thin lips, black hair, and seemingly inexhaustible energy. He looked handsome and adorable at the same time with that smile of his and had an outgoing personality.

Like most men, Harry was adventurous and fun-loving, and he especially loved racing, skiing, and surfing.

During dinner, he sat next to Nathalia, talking to her in a way so affable that even his closest friends had never been treated this way.

Evan glanced at them and leaned over to Yuvan. “See that? It sure is nice being rich.”

He knew that Harry had had his eyes on that sports car ever since his birthday, but the former just didn't have the connections nor money to buy it for him.

“Did Cooper tell her to come?” Evan whispered again.

The elections were coming up in Xedells, and everyone knew who was going to win this time.

In truth, Evan didn't genuinely want to buy that sports car; the man simply thought it would make a fitting gift for Harry and help strengthen his family's ties with the Homptons. Yet, he failed to get the car.

Yuvan shook his head. “It's not like Cooper makes any money from Xedells. There's no point in him getting involved.”

He, too, had once suspected Nathalia's true motive of taking part in the race. It then came to his realization that there was no need for Cooper to involve himself.

Evan felt Yuvan had a point, but he was still perplexed. “Then why is she being so nice to Harry? We even let her win, but she ended up giving the car to him.”

Suddenly, the former had a bold idea. “Do you think... she's into Harry because of his puppy-like personality?”

Yuvan was speechless.

There's no way Genevieve would be into guys like Harry, but considering that she's now Nathalia, along with all the things she's done for the past two days...

The more Yuvan pondered over Evan's words, the more he thought they made sense.

Evan gasped as he noticed Yuvan gazing at Nathalia inexplicably. “Did I just hit the nail on the head?”
