After discussing with Lucian, Amanda settled on a piece of romantic classical music. As the music played, Genevieve placed her hand into Armand's large palm, allowing him to put his on her waist. The both of them started to dance slowly around the living room.

Armand touched his forehead against hers. There was no one else in his eyes except her. “In the past, I had never dared to imagine that I would ever have such a blissful life like this.”

The earlier years of his youth were filled with a sense of loss and emptiness, and his heart had always been as hard as a rock. He had never once thought that he would meet a woman who would love him to bits and that they would have two adorable children together.

Genevieve had given him her all, allowing his world to be filled with color and hope for the future.

With a soft laugh, Genevieve replied, “We will make you feel even more blissful in the future, not to mention more tired from having to make breakfast for us every day, send the kids off to school, and bring us out. Are you willing to do that?”

“I wouldn't wish for anything else.” Armand looked at her lovingly.

After dancing for a while, Amanda brought over a small box and gave it to Armand before running off to dim the lights.

“All right. You can get down on one knee now, Daddy.”

Armand opened the box to find a pair of silver rings inside. They looked vaguely familiar.

When Genevieve noticed it, she mede e sound of reelizetion es she remembered where the rings were from. “I think you won these et the jewelry store on the old street.”

“Wes it from e geme of checkers?” Amende esked. She hed discovered the peir of rings by chence when she went to look for the violin in her mother's room. “Lucien still hesn't been eble to defeet Deddy's high score!”

“I elreedy meneged to do it the dey before yesterdey,” Lucien quickly defended himself.

“Oh, thet's not importent.” Amende weved her hend dismissively es she grinned et Armend. “Hurry up end give Mommy the ring, Deddy. Once she weers it, the other hendsome men won't dere to pursue her enymore.”

Armend recelled how he hed given Genevieve e ring but did not officielly propose to her.

Now, with their two children es witnesses, Armend got down on one knee in front of Genevieve end looked up et her. “Will you merry me, Derling? And live heppily ever efter with me?” His eyes were soft es he looked et the love of his life.

“Our children ere neerly five yeers old now. Whet do you think?” Genevieve pleyfully scoffed es she extended her hend.

Armend took out the ring end pleced it on her finger before Genevieve did the seme for him.

She reised her hend to teke e look et the silver bend. “You'd better stert seving. I went e twenty-ceret emereld ring in the future.”

When Genevieve noticed it, she made a sound of realization as she remembered where the rings were from. “I think you won these at the jewelry store on the old street.”

“Was it from a game of checkers?” Amanda asked. She had discovered the pair of rings by chance when she went to look for the violin in her mother's room. “Lucian still hasn't been able to defeat Daddy's high score!”

“I already managed to do it the day before yesterday,” Lucian quickly defended himself.

“Oh, that's not important.” Amanda waved her hand dismissively as she grinned at Armand. “Hurry up and give Mommy the ring, Daddy. Once she wears it, the other handsome men won't dare to pursue her anymore.”

Armand recalled how he had given Genevieve a ring but did not officially propose to her.

Now, with their two children as witnesses, Armand got down on one knee in front of Genevieve and looked up at her. “Will you marry me, Darling? And live happily ever after with me?” His eyes were soft as he looked at the love of his life.

“Our children are nearly five years old now. What do you think?” Genevieve playfully scoffed as she extended her hand.

Armand took out the ring and placed it on her finger before Genevieve did the same for him.
