Kaden took out a folder from his drawer. “This was delivered an hour ago. See for yourself.”

The folder was sealed, so Yuvan hurriedly tore off the seal after taking it. Drawing a few sheets of paper out, he flipped right to the end to look at the test results.

The line “it's concluded that the two parties are not related by blood” had his heart sinking.

How could this be? If Genevieve weren't Grandpa's granddaughter, why would I have such a strange feeling toward her? And why is she the only one who can make him happy among his many grandchildren despite being an outsider? Also, why would he have such a favorable impression of her?

Nonetheless, Kaden was his art professor's husband and had worked at General Hospital for decades, so he believed the DNA test couldn't have gone wrong.

Noticing the grim expression on Yuvan's face, Kaden queried, “What's wrong?”

“Nothing.” Yuvan put the papers back into the folder and flashed him a forced smile. “Thank you.”

When Yuvan had left, Kaden quickly shut his office door and made a call. “He looked at the test results in front of me and also took the report with him.”
