Cooper knew Harry had taught Lucian computer skills, but he didn't expect Lucian to be so good at it after learning for just a short period of time. Lucian can easily hack into others' computers now? He takes after Armand. Since he was little, he has been a rather independent child. That's why he can now face everything calmly. I don't even know if that's a good thing or not.

Cooper then patted Lucian's head and uttered softly, “I'm sorry. I didn't take good care of your mommy...”

“I understand.” Lucian pursed his lips.

Right before Armand went abroad, he had a talk with Lucian and told him to look after Amanda. “He told me that he was Mommy's husband first before he became our daddy,” Lucian said.

At that time, Lucian somehow sensed that something was amiss. He had a feeling his parents would never return.

After Cooper went back to the mansion, he received a call.

His phone call only lasted for a short while. After hanging up the phone, he carried Amanda in his arms and kissed her cheek. “There is something I need to do, so I won't be having dinner with you guys.”

“It's all right!” Amanda waved dismissively and said, “After all, you've already kept us company throughout the day!”

Cooper went back to the office to take some gifts Bertilla had prepared. After that, he took an hour's car ride to arrive at an area with self-built mansions.

The area was located near the suburb, and there was a resettlement area right behind it. Hence, it wouldn't cost much to have a self-built mansion there.

The car came to a halt in front of a mansion on the right side of the road.

Cooper got out of his car and took out the gifts from the trunk. Upon taking a glance at his watch, he said to Sally, “Drive around on your own and pick me up at eight.”

When he was talking to Sally, a middle-aged man and a young lady came out of the mansion.

The young lady was behind the man. She was wearing a down jacket and a long skirt. She looked gentle and sensible, like a teacher.

“Hi, Mr. Yerton, Ms. Yerton,” Cooper greeted.

Isaac Yerton hurriedly took the gifts from Cooper and said sheepishly, “You didn't have to bring gifts! Come on in. It's cold outside.”

As Isaac was talking, he saw Sally standing by the car. Startled, he asked, “Is that your assistant? Bring her along.”

“It's alright,” Cooper answered.

Sally hopped into the car and looked out through the window.

Cooper walked into the house alongside Isaac while Tiffany Yerton had a shy look on her face with her head lowered. After taking a glance at the gifts Isaac was holding in his hands, Sally immediately knew what was going on.

The moment Cooper stepped into the house, he took off his jacket, and Tiffany, who was standing beside him, took it and hung it on the rack.

Everyone then sat in the living room, and Isaac quickly poured coffee for Cooper.
