CHAPTER 1302 HE INSULTED THE WORD LOVE

Upon hearing this, Genevieve instantly understood who made that phone call last night. She then asked, “Why would he send Jojo back?”

“He loves Johanna.”

Genevieve laughed sarcastically and said, “The word 'love' coming from someone who climbed to the top by stepping on others' corpses and wantonly toyed with people is an insult to the word itself.”

She never thought Zephyr would love Johanna; all he ever did to Johanna was plunder and hurt her.

Genevieve hesitated for a moment, “That child...”

Armand said, “It's Zephyr's. But don't worry, I've taken care of the child too.”

“Did you kill them?”

“No,” Armand wouldn't admit that he was the father, and he couldn't bring himself to kill a child. Besides, he had a deal with Zephyr.

He will ensure the child's safety throughout their life.

Armand gently took Genevieve's hand and kissed it, “Don't worry about these things, I've taken care of everything.”

Upon hearing this, Genevieve didn't ask any more questions.

After the car arrived at the government building, Genevieve unbuckled her seatbelt, leaned over, and wrapped her arms around the man's neck, giving him a deep kiss. “Thank you for your hard work, Mando. I'll make soup for you tonight.”

“Alright.” Armand smiled and wiped the lipstick from the corner of her lips. “It's been a long time since I've had the soup you made.”

After Armand got out of the car, Genevieve moved to the driver's seat and drove home.

After Genevieve decided to practice kickboxing with Sally, she had a room on the first floor specifically converted into a training room.

She thought practicing kickboxing would be similar to yoga, but she soon realized how naive she was.

Yoga is a practice that focuses on physical postures, and many of its movements may appear to be highly challenging. However, it is typically performed indoors. On the other hand, kickboxing requires full-body strength, as a powerful kick can cause pain to others.

Every morning, in addition to going for a run with Sally, Genevieve also has to do weight training in the training room under Sally's supervision after breakfast.

After finishing weight training, Genevieve felt weak in her arms and legs. Yet, she was still forced to practice shadow boxing, with a minimum of two hundred repetitions.

Genevieve had originally planned her daily routine: every morning, she would train with Sally, and in the afternoon, she would spend time reading and studying. Around five o'clock, she would go to the school to pick up her child.

After picking up the kids from school, learn to cook a couple of dishes with the housekeeper to treat the man of the house. In the evening, spend time playing games with the children and watch some TV shows together.

As a result, after she finished her weight training, she was so tired that all she wanted to do was lie down and not do anything else.
