His kiss ignited the fighting spirit within Charlotte. She tied up her red hair and picked up a glass of liquor from the table, downing it in one gulp.

Lindsay, unwilling to show weakness, also picked up a glass of wine.

Amidst the cheers and laughter of the people around them, Charlotte and Lindsay's glasses of liquor were emptied one by one.

Charlotte had already drunk more than ten glasses, yet she remained composed and relaxed, with only a slight flush on her cheeks. On the other hand, Lindsay, who was next to her, was clearly struggling. Her drinking pace was getting slower and slower, and she could no longer stand up straight.

Charlotte glanced at Lindsay, who was holding a wine glass but hesitating to drink. “If you can't drink it, just forget it. It would be even more embarrassing to vomit in front of everyone.”

Evan also came up to persuade Lindsay not to drink anymore.

“She has the title of 'Thousand Shots' in the high society in Jadeborough, and no one can outdrink her,” Evan said softly. “You've already lost. Just give up.”

Lindsay was very unwilling, but she knew that if she drank any more, she would throw up.

She reluctantly put down her glass and admitted to Charlotte that she had lost. After drinking sixteen cups of wine, she called Charlotte “Ma'am” sixteen times in front of everyone.

After Lindsay's commotion, everyone knew how terrifying Charlotte's alcohol tolerance was, and they didn't even dare to think about competing with her in drinking contest.

Someone joked with a smile, “Lottie really went all out to avoid breaking up with Jerry. If I had a beautiful and devoted wife like you, I'd stab myself in the stomach before arguing with her.”

“That's right.” Charlotte leaned against Jerry, speaking with immense pride, “He is my Babe. I can do anything for him.”

Her sweet nothings came effortlessly, yet they still managed to captivate and enchant Jerry.

At that moment, a waiter entered the private room and approached Jerry, informing him that someone was looking for him. Jerry then followed the waiter out.

In the private room, everyone chatted for a bit and then started playing card games.

Everyone sat in a circle, drawing cards clockwise. If a card was smaller than the previous one and this happened five times in a row, the person would have to play Truth or Dare as punishment.

Charlotte was getting a bit tired from drinking and hadn't planned on joining in, but she was eventually pulled into it by someone.

When she joined in, everyone had already played two rounds. However, no one had drawn five cards in a row with lower values than before, yet the bad luck just happened to fall on her.

Someone said, “Lottie lost, so she must be punished.”

Charlotte picked up the dice and threw it onto the paper plate labeled Truth or Dare. The dice rolled around and stopped on a square that read: Call the first person in your contact list and say 'I love you.'

“What a coincidence, the first person in my contact list is Jerry.” Charlotte opened her phone and showed it to everyone.

The note she gave to Jerry read: Love Jerry.

Charlotte called Jerry, and after dozens of seconds, Jerry finally picked up. It seemed like there were people around him, so he lowered his voice, “I'll be back in two minutes.”
