Chapter 3 The Beauty of Susie

As Leo was still hesitating about what to do, Susie took a few steps forward, lifted the veil, and gently laid a kiss on his lips.

Then came the silence.

“Wait, was I kissed? That was it?”

Leo didn’t even get to feel it before Susie stepped back, nor did he see what Susie really looked like since she dropped the veil as she moved her lips away from his. It was like nothing more than a have-to-do mission for Susie.
