If she offended you in any way, please don’t take offense to it on the account that she is still a child,” Adina said slowly while holding Melody in a protective embrace. She was really surprised. Her daughter usually avoided strangers like the plague, but she had actually hugged this man’s leg of her own accord. She really wanted to know why, but the man seemed aloof and not like someone she should cross paths with on a normal day. Besides, she found the man slightly familiar.
