This was the first time that someone had called her that.

She was after all still just a student and an intern at the hospital. However, Joseph calling her by this name gave her a feeling of recognition.

However a second later Ella said coldly, "The patient needs to remain in the hospital for observation, so tonight you need to stay on duty.”

The way she said this made it seem like she was a superior giving an order.

Kathy frowned, for she had always known what her job obligations were, and the person to stay on duty was Ella therefore she would not agree to this.

“Miss Bridges, I am scheduled to work tomorrow morning. In addition, I think you need to consider what your position is before you can expect me to follow your orders.”

After she said this she quickly returned to the office and wrote down the notes regarding today’s surgery.
