The light of the emergency room was suddenly off. Nova froze and got stiff. She dared not to step forward. She was afraid that she wouldn’t able to handle the outcome.

The door of the room slowly opened like the descending of the Death. Nova held her breath.

A hospital bed was slowly wheeled out and a white cloth was covering the body. Was this all destined to be? Why would God be so cruel? Why would God let her lose both her mother and lover?
