“Thank you,” Nicole expressed her gratitude with a warm smile as she thanked Jared.

Only then did Nicole realize he had gone out again to make ginger tea. Taking the cup, she sipped the warm tea.

Jared affectionately ruffled her hair, “Go rest now.”
