be him!”
Patrick’s eyes flashed with a hint of darkness. “How can you be so sure that it’s not him? Just because he’s trying to be nice to you?”
Violet shook her head. “No, I just think that, given Gabriel’s personality, if he wanted to target me, he would come directly at me instead of pla double game!”
