However, they did not actually help the Morrison family. Instead, they stood by the sidelines.”

Unable to stop herself, Vivian interjected, “Why didn’t they help the Morrisons? I thought their families have always been rather good friends?”

“Yeah. Under normal circumstances, they would have aided the Morrisons. Of course they wouldn’t want the Morrisons to crumble. Unfortunately, that year was a bad year for everyone.
