Chapter 1530

As Ian couldn’t control his expression, he immediately blushed.

Then, Cindy continued speaking, “You don’t even know how happy I was.”

He licked his lips as he searched for a reply, but nothing came to mind.

She sighed. “After I woke up, I realized that everything was just a dream. You never transferred your properties to me at all.”

His brain would have been slightly foggy after he heard her words in the past. Now that he heard her words, his mind immediately became sharper. Sure enough. It turns out that she’s here just for my money.

Ian’s movement became rougher as he shoved her out of his embrace. “In your dreams.”

Cindy groaned out loud as she did not understand what Ian meant.

At the same time, he couldn’t stand wasting his time with her anymore.

After all, her unconscious expression had easily messed up his thoughts.

Hence, he pushed her back into the washroom and closed the door from outside. “I’m going back to my room now. You better wash your face and go to bed. Since you can’t drink much, you shouldn’t have gotten this drunk.”

Without waiting for Cindy’s reaction, Ian quickly retreated to his room.

After he closed the door, he leaned against it and took a few deep breaths.

Then, he slowly raised his hand to touch his face.

Even though she didn’t poke him very hard earlier, he could still feel the impact now.

On the other side, Cindy, who was in the washroom, did not even wash her face. She merely used the sink to support herself and wobbled back to her room after a while.

Her mind was in a complete mess; it was to the point where she didn't even know how she got back to her bed. She merely fell asleep as soon as she shut her eyes.

Ian was much better than her—he slowly changed into his pair of pajamas and closed the curtains before he went to bed.

When he closed his eyes, he could almost feel Cindy still in his arms.

Unable to help himself, he frowned. Gosh... She is really making me spin.

Cindy slept all the way until evening before she was woken by a phone call.

She felt for her phone with her eyes still closed before she successfully retrieved the device. Then, she answered the call without even looking at who the caller was.

Naomi was on the other end of line and she sounded quite tired. “Are you back?”

Cindy asked, “Huh, what?”

Upon hearing the answer, Naomi froze. “Babe, what’s going on? Are you drunk?” Oh, she guessed it accurately. I’m indeed drunk.

It was after a pause that Cindy slowly turned around to hold the phone to her ear. “Oh, it’s you. I’m back with Ian now. Since you were going to be busy for the entire day, I’d be bored alone.”
