After that, Ian remained in the kitchen and watched Cindy whip up some dishes. After she was finished with one dish, he would bring it to the dining table before he went back to stand at the door until Naomi arrived.

Then, he headed to the entrance to open the door for her.

As Naomi felt embarrassed if she came empty handed, she brought some fruits and drinks over.

After she entered the house, she had small talk with him before she went directly to the kitchen.

It was with a loud voice when she said, “My virtuous babe, you are so skilled. Ian is blessed to have you.”

Cindy had finished the final dish right at that moment. While she dished out the food onto the plate, she responded, “You came pretty fast. I thought it would take you a long time to come, judging by how much of a slowpoke you are.”

Naomi combed her hair with her fingers. “Initially, I wanted to just stay in the hotel since I’m quite tired after all. After receiving your invitation to come over, I’m curious to see what your love nest looks like.”

That’s it. I don’t feel like speaking anymore, Cindy thought. This girl can’t leave us alone at all.

After the final dish was done, she poured the soup out from the casserole.

It was right at this moment that the door was opened from outside. Without even thinking about it, she knew that Aurora had arrived.

Then, Cindy washed some fruits as well. “Alright, since everyone is here, we can start the dinner.”

Aurora was not in her best condition too as she looked drained as she approached the dining table. “Oh, I’m really getting old now. In the past, I never had problems with drinking at all. On top of feeling dizzy, there’s a buzz in my ears even after I slept for some time.”

Upon hearing Aurora’s words, Cindy wanted to laugh. When they were drinking earlier, she still remembered how haughty Aurora looked when she said that she would never be drunk. I wonder if it’s during that time that we had too much to drink.

When Aurora saw Naomi, she couldn’t even bring herself to be excited and weakly waved to Naomi.

As a response, Naomi smiled. “Why? Did all of you drink too much for lunch?”

With that, she shot a glance at Cindy, who wondered whether the woman was overthinking.

Regardless of that, it was true that Cindy herself was the one overthinking.

When she was woken up by Naomi’s call earlier, Naomi even thought that she was sleeping with Ian. Perhaps she’s thinking that we really did something embarrassing under the influence of alcohol.

It was strictly because of that thought, which caused Cindy to avoid Naomi’s gaze as she was worried that she would blush.

The others would realize her thoughts the moment she flushed.

As she leaned against the chair, Aurora said, “I don’t know whether they were drunk or not, but I surely was.”

Ian added, “I also drank too much. Once you left, I went back to my room and slept.”

Cindy remained silent as she opened some beverages and poured them for everyone. “Let’s not drink tonight and just have some beverages.”

Naomi pouted. “I was thinking about drinking with you. In the end, you guys secretly met up behind my back.”

With that, she let out a light snort to show her displeasure.
