Ian could still distinctly make out Cindy’s features.

Despite being unable to see her expression clearly, he could imagine the restrained look on her face.

Does she think that she’ll be okay by pretending to be asleep?! Ian suddenly thought of pulling a prank on her.

He waited for a short while before lifting his hand and then, he subsequently placed it on her waist.

Indeed, Cindy, who was underneath the comforter, instantly stiffened and Ian could sense it quite clearly.

He was rather tempted to burst into laughter as he felt that her reaction clearly portrayed her inexperience.

Ian’s head was currently right next to Cindy’s ears and with each breath he took, she could hear it quite clearly.

Cindy knew that he was awake and she licked her lips as she tried to find the words to say something. Perhaps I could use the same words I said to him earlier in the kitchen when I ruthlessly told him off as he got too close to me.

She recollected herself and took a few deep breaths before calling out, “Ian!”

On the other hand, the man in question no longer pretended to be asleep. After all, his initial intention wasn’t to put on an act either, so he responded with a grunt. However, he didn’t give her a chance to ask him anything and he instantly mentioned, “I knew you weren’t asleep!”

Ian continued, “I wanted to ask you a question. You can respond by nodding or shaking your head.”

Without even waiting for her response, he immediately fired his question at her, “Have you dated anyone before?”

She blinked and instinctively shook her head.

Just then, he chuckled. “Then do you have a crush on Gary?”

Cindy was momentarily shocked. Disregarding the point that they had already argued about this issue for more than once, in fact, she had nearly forgotten about Gary’s existence.

Over this period of time, she hadn’t been in contact with Gary at all. Furthermore, Ian had never brought up Gary after that, so she had actually completely forgotten about this person.
