Cindy quickly took the phone to check out the news and found that the number of views wasn’t quite high. In the news, someone reported seeing Ian and her at the entrance of the hospital, which happened to be where Bryce had been admitted to. Hence, that person speculated that Ian had brought Cindy to the hospital to visit Bryce.

The whole article was based solely on someone’s random statement without providing any concrete evidence.

Cindy raised her head and looked at Ian. “Is this the work of someone under the company’s instruction?”

Ian took out his phone to browse the online news before shaking his head. “It doesn’t seem like it.” His gut feeling was that it was Sean’s doing.

If it was done by the company, instead of just launching a mini attack, they would have grabbed the opportunity to reveal everything that they had on hand. On top of that, based on the number of views, it did not conform to the company’s usual style.

Therefore, Ian rose to his full height and stated, “Give me a minute. Let me make a call.” With that, he returned to the room and directly called Sean.

Sean’s phone rang for a while before it was picked up. It was rather noisy in the background with shouts of males and females, and it was so rowdy that Ian couldn’t hear anything clearly.

He reckoned that it was Sean’s work in order to enrage that three people.

Only if the mother and her children continue to create problems would Bryce force himself to be more biased when writing his will. This showed that Sean was even more cunning than him.

Ian smiled at the thought. It was fine to him too since he didn’t covet Bryce’s will. In fact, he would be more than happy to see Bryce favoring Sean more when he distributed his wealth.

Holding his phone in his hand, Ian left the room and saw that Cindy and Aurora were still seated next to each other as they talked about the online news.

After a while, Cindy, who noticed Ian standing at the door, raised her head to look at him with a slight smile on her face. “Who do you think could have posted the news? It seems to me that this person sided with you.”

Ian didn’t pay much attention to what she said, but his gaze was locked on her face. Her smiling expression was one that Ian had always seen in the past, but when he saw it again now, he seemed to feel his heart pounding vigorously in his chest. And so, he went over and sat next to her. “However, based on the number of views, this news didn’t seem to make any large impact.”
