Cindy nodded beside them. “Actually, it’s really Old Mr. Morgan who requested you to go.”

Aurora looked slightly uncomfortable as she retracted her gaze. “I bet he shares the same thoughts. We both want to infuriate each other to our deaths.” With that, she let out a snort. “I’m not afraid, though. He can do whatever he wants since I can’t be hurt now.”

Ian took out his phone and showed Aurora the message that Bryce sent. “Look at it for yourself. Judging from his tone, I don’t think he’s planning to pick a fight with you.”

She took Ian’s phone and carefully read Bryce’s message to the point where she seriously read each word.

Bryce’s message did not reveal much, but from the content at surface level, he didn’t seem to have the urge to be extremely calculative. In fact, he desired to resolve the problem peacefully.

Aurora laughed out loud. “This old man is definitely nuts. When I’m there tomorrow, I’ll suggest that he see a neurologist.”

It had been ten years since the incident between them happened. Although time had lightened the wounds, there was no denying that Bryce had already inflicted hurt on her.

Whatever he said now would be useless.

To Aurora, the best type of interaction for them both was to quarrel until the end.

Cindy went to sit beside Aurora and gently stroked the older woman’s arm. “If you are still mad at him, you can vent your anger tomorrow. You don’t have to have many considerations. Ian has no plans to obtain any benefits from him, so you don’t have to care about that either.”

A stubborn Aurora pouted. “I’ve never taken you guys into consideration anyway. When I’m there tomorrow, I’ll definitely have a go at scolding him first. If he dares to retaliate, I’ll definitely whack him. Even if he is still healthy at this age, he definitely can’t win a fight against me.”

With that, she raised her arm to reveal her faint muscles. “You don’t know how fierce I was when I fought with guys back then.”

Although she still felt uncomfortable about meeting Bryce, she applied the beauty face masks and did a massage in the evening.

Cindy could tell that Aurora wanted to face Bryce at her best condition. I wonder how long it has been since they last said goodbye to each other.
