There had been a constant stream of negative news coming from the Morgan Family, and people were enjoying the gossip until they realized it came with blood.

Bryce’s passing was unexpected news for many. Most people were just onlookers and said that with how things had progressed, Bryce could be said to have died in the hands of a woman.

After all, despite his long stay in the hospital, there was no news of his deteriorating health. After that, because of frequent scandals coming from Leah, Bryce was suddenly announced to be gravely sick.

In a way, Bryce had received due punishment. He had toyed with women in his youth, and now a woman became the death of him in his old age. It was karma, perhaps.

There were countless comments online regarding the news of Bryce’s passing. Cindy looked through them to find that most didn’t carry any hints of sympathy. Bryce’s scandals from his youth were also dug out and shared.

Cindy didn’t know Bryce that well before, but now that Bryce was gone and old articles about him were released, she finally got to know him better. She had to admit that Bryce really did all sorts of unspeakable things in his youth simply because he had money and power.

Cindy was surprised to find that he didn’t contract any diseases, even after toying with so many women. Because of that, Cindy felt even more sorry for Aurora and realized how horrible of a life Ian had been leading.

No one could handle being related to a man like Bryce.

A wise man once said that traumatic events would follow one to their grave, and Bryce was the embodiment of tragedy itself. However, now that he was gone just like that, he left not much of an impact, so people readily agreed to the notion that the evil would be dealt their due punishment.

Bryce’s funeral was held the day after. Cindy wasn’t sure how many people would attend the funeral, seeing how Bryce’s reputation was in the gutter. If only a few people showed up, then it would be a terribly awkward scene to behold.

But then she remembered Sean had expanded the company quite a lot, so their business partners would still show up even if they didn’t want to. So, despite all the chaos in Bryce’s youth, his funeral would still be grand.

After much thinking, Cindy still felt that if Bryce had managed his life well, he would’ve lived a comfortable life. He wouldn’t come to this stage where he would be shamed for the things he did.

Aurora and Cindy didn’t help the Morgan Family with the funeral. Cindy didn’t want to go, and Aurora wasn’t in a position to help. With Bryce’s passing, Leah would be free.

Leah had to be there for Bryce’s funeral, after all. They hadn’t divorced yet, so Leah had to attend for the sake of attending. Bryce wanted to divorce Leah for so long, but in the end, Leah’s perseverance won.

She still managed to hang on at the last minute while Bryce became history.

Despite the entire mess, Cindy was curious about one thing. She had seen the video where Leah’s face was bruised and broken. Cindy didn’t know how Leah would carry herself at Bryce’s funeral.

Aurora and Cindy waited at home while Ian went over to deal with the documents and related matters concerning Bryce’s passing. Aurora could only wait for Ian to return so that she could ask him how the situation was over there. Actually, Ian didn’t get to help much, even when he was there.
