Hence, to spare Cindy from any worries, Ian came clean about everything before she had the opportunity to ask.

Ian had rejected Yulia’s offer and wanted to start off from the bottom. Ian was secure and didn't need any special help from anyone, as he’d feel more confident if he built his foundation.

As Yulia expected Ian to react like this, she didn’t try too hard to persuade him. Nevertheless, she offered before Ian could ask her because she knew that Cindy would have told Ian everything that they had discussed after she returned.

“Do you still remember when I ran into you?” Yulia took the initiative and asked.

However, Ian answered without any hesitation, “I have no recollection of that at all.”

Still, Yulia wasn’t offended by Ian’s reply at all. In fact, her chuckles could be heard from the other end of the call as she had already expected this reply before she continued, “I’ve tried campaigning for you to get more votes when you were still in the talent show, hoping that you’ll be able to debut.”

Despite that, Ian didn’t say anything other than thank you upon hearing everything, while Yulia admitted truthfully, “What I want to hear from you isn’t thank you.”

Yet, Ian had nothing to say besides thanking her.

After telling Cindy everything that had happened, he pulled her into his embrace. “Don’t worry. I’ve already said everything that I want to tell her, and she won’t make things worse if she still wants to maintain a relationship with us. Still, I wouldn’t care even if she does.”

Right then, Cindy turned around and snuggled into Ian’s arms before she reached out to put her arms around his waist. “A womanizer, that’s what you are.”

Upon hearing that, Ian burst into laughter before he inched closer toward Cindy and planted a kiss on her. “You still manage to sweep me off my feet, though. What does that make you if I’m a womanizer?”

Instead of hiding, Cindy even reached out to kiss Ian this time. “Whatever you say.”

Once they started being lovey-dovey with each other, they couldn’t stop, and Ian ended up carrying Cindy into the room again. Being in the flower of youth had its perks, as the lovebirds were as good as new after a night of rest.

Unlike Cindy’s usual whiny self, she took charge, probably because she was triggered by Yulia’s action. How the tables were turned, for instead of looking down, the man had to look up to lock eyes with her.

At this moment, she lowered her head and stared at Ian. “I just got an idea. I’m going to record our session this time. If you cross me in the future, I’ll release everything on the internet and ruin your reputation.”

Ian couldn’t help himself but laugh as his chest shook from his laughter, and Cindy could feel it clearly while sitting on him.

“Are you sure that I’m the one who would end up with a ruined reputation?”

Women would never benefit from these kinds of situations. Even if the whole internet was about to watch them being intimate, Ian knew for sure that he wouldn’t be the one who would be the most embarrassed.

Still, Cindy harrumphed after she heard him before she reached out to grab Ian’s neck and choke him. “You’re shameless.”
