Cindy waited for Aurora to walk to the kitchen door before breaking the silence. “Why didn’t you sleep more?”
Leaning on the door frame, Aurora crossed her arms. “I couldn't sleep after being woken up by a phone call.”

There was somewhat a faint mocking tone in Aurora’s tone. “Not sure. He was the one who approached me, left me, and now, he’s the one who can’t move on.”
She then added, “When we were together, his daughter was pregnant at that time. I took care of her, after which I decided to return to the entertainment industry because I’m not willing to give that up. You know that, right? At that time, he did not agree and insulted me. Later, we gave each other the cold shoulder for a few days before he sent his daughter to his in-laws. Afterward, he also went over there to stay with them for a couple of days.
