Sonya slowly turned to face Adler. Paul was quietly standing below the Path of Fate, looking up at everything that was happening.

Everyone else thought that Sonya was acting too arrogantly with what he said earlier, but Paul could tell that Sonya had other plans.

Sonya was not someone who would let a bit of achievement get to his head. He would never have said that if he did not have a reason to.

Sonya definitely had a goal in doing what he did.

When Adler stepped on the starting point, Paul immediately understood that Sonya had been trying to provoke Blant so that he would have his subordinates join the challenge.

In truth, Sonya was making a gamble as well. He did not know if the ones around Blant had joined the challenge before. If all of them had already attempted the challenge, then he would have done all of that in vain.
