Matthew was left alone in the room while a surge of anger coursed through him with nowhere to go. He slammed his fist onto the table in frustration.

The phone on the table rang, interrupting his thoughts. He took a moment to compose himself before picking it up.

It was a call from Braxton. It had been a while since they last spoke, which was ever since Matthew arrived in Floravalca.

Matthew hesitated for a few seconds, but for once, he did not hang up the call. He answered it.
