Jackson suddenly smiled, but his eyes were cold. “She’ll never find out the truth.”
Master Zack scoffed. “You think that’s possible? If I can uncover the truth, so can she…
Before he could finish, Jackson interrupted him. “She definitely won’t. Right, grandpa?”
His voice was low, so it was only audible to both of them. But more importantly, Master Zack saw a threatening look in his grandson’s eyes.

His grandson was actually threatening him for the sake of a woman? A feeling of uneasiness surged in Master Zack.

“I know things have been hard for you.” Tears welled in Emily’s eyes.
“I only want you to get better, Granny,” said Serenity.
