The thought of Lucas Gomez always stirred up a lingering restlessness in her heart because although she had been with him for a long time now, Lucas had still never touched her at all.

“I thought you’d choose a leading role,” he said. “This one’s just a supporting role.”
it’s a huge production,” she told him. “The director is renowned, the male lead has won the best actor award twice, and the female lead, Jenny Hall, is the most popular actress at the moment. If I join such a production, even as a supporting actress, Ill get more exposure than becoming the female lead of a drama with small production!”
Although that was what she told Lucas, no one but Aria knew that these were mere excuses The true reason she had chosen to join this production was to show Jenny Hall how far she had come.
Jenny Hall had always looked down on her. Aria remembered clearly how she had treated her with contempt and disdain when she had begged Zeke Shaw for a role! But now, she could show Jenny that although she was just a supporting actress, she could easily outsh ne the female lead herself!
But then, she had gotten another pleasant surprise as Serenity had also joined the production as an extra! Now, she could stand tall above these two women at the same time. The thought alone delighted her to no end!
When the second rehearsal ended, the director was about to start the official shooting, but Aria suddenly told him, “I think the extras weren’t in unison when they were kneeling down.”
“What?” The director was taken aback. He thought that the extras had done well enough just now. After all, these were just extras, not soldiers. He could not possibly expect absolute unison from them.
