“I’m transferring to Class One, Eileen mentioned casually as she stood up and walked over to the water dispenser to pour herself a cup of water to take her medicine.

As soon as the words were spoken, the classroom quickly erupted into a lively discussion.

Among the crowd, someone questioned mockingly, “Is that for real? How long do you think. she can last in Class One if she gets in by cheating? The workload in that class is intense. I guarantee she’ll be back here in three days.”

“Who can argue with that? Cheating to this extent just to switch classes surely isn’t easy!”

“I’d rather die than do that.”

Infuriated by the snide remarks, Walsh defended Eileen. “Who said Eileen cheated? Did any of you see her cheat? Don’t forget, all of you saw Eileen’s math test paper just now. She scored perfectly! Accusing someone else of cheating just because you performed badly is such a shameful act! I think you should be ashamed of yourselves! You just can’t stand to see others. doing well.”

Eileen’s gaze turned to focus on Vera, who was seated in front of Elm.

Vera was looking at her with an innocent expression, trying to hide her guilt.

Without saying a word, Eileen simply returned to her seat. After all, she was about to be moved to another class, so she couldn’t be bothered to argue any further.

Charlie was lounging with his foot hooked on the table. Leaning back to look past Elm at Albert, he whistled, catching the latter’s attention. Albert turned his gaze towards Charlie. upon hearing the sound.

Charlie raised an eyebrow. “Is she really going to Class One?”

Albert shrugged, “You’re asking me? How would I know?”
