I sent Oscar a message. “Oscar, are you asleep?”

So, Stella made up an excuse to lure Barbara to her house. Naturally, Alicia and I were there too.
“What are you guys up to?” Barbara was a little confused when she saw our serious faces.
“Barbara, have you heard the phrase “there are plenty of fish in the sea’?” Stella started.
Barbara seemed confused, “I’ve heard of it, but does it have any special meaning?”
I said, “Barbara, we’re your best friends. We’re like your family. Do you trust us? No matter what difficulties you encounter, we’ll support you!”
Alicia nodded, “Yes, we would never harm you!”
Barbara seemed to sense something bad was about to happen, but she tried to stay calm and smiled, “What are you talking about? Of course, I know you wouldn’t hurt me. In my heart, you are my family.”
Stella and I exchanged a glance, then took out a phone, opened a video, and placed it in front of Barbara.
Barbara focused on the video. Soon, her face turned pale.
“Barbara… I felt sad. The truth was too cruel. All her fantasies about her happy married life shattered at this moment.
Barbara suddenly stood up. She looked at us, opened her mouth to speak, but fainted before she could say anything.
Stella reacted quickly and caught her, “Barbara!”
Half an hour later, I was driving the car, with Stella and Alicia supporting Barbara in the back, heading straight to the hospital.
After a whole day’s turmoil, the doctor told us that Barbara had a minor rupture from an ectopic pregnancy. The baby definitely couldn’t be saved, or it would threaten her life! Stella called Barbara’s parents. They agreed to the surgery, and we also told them what happened.
