Chapter 116 Out of Patience
Harold greeted Jordy by saying, “Mr. Collins, Miss White is waiting for you.’
Miss White?
Jordy took a meaningful look at him and Harold understood almost immediately. “Miss Angela White,” he
said.
Jordy’s dark eyes were tinged with coldness. “Tell her I’m not back.”
By then he was at the office door.
Harold’s face turned pale at what he said. Angela, who had heard the voice of Jordy, stood up with excitement until she heard what he said later!
Her smile froze on her face!

Did I. hear him wrong!

Maybe Jordy has visitors he doesn’t wish to see. That is why he said so, right?
She comforted herself Suddenly, Harold’s voice came through the door. “Mr Collins, Miss White is waiting for you in your office.”
Angela’s heart thumped, as if her expectations were about to be devastated.
Awkwardness fell in the room. Angela shivered uncontrollably.
Angela felt flustered and wondered whether she was she the one he didn’t want to see?!
And in her panic, the door was pushed open.
Angela White hurriedly collected herself and looked into Jordy’s indifferent eyes. She smiled and said, “Jordy. you are back. I have been waiting here for an hour, but I didn’t expect you to get 10 work so early, otherwise, you could have breakfast before the meeting.
She had opened her food container and started filling a bowl of soup for him, saying with a big smile on her face, “This container has kept the soup warm Jordy. you..”
Before she could finish, Jordy cut her shon, saying, “I have had breakfast. And, don’t do it again.’
Angela paused and her face turned pale. She put the bowl and ladle down and said somewhat sadly, “Jordy. have some faith in me. I am good at cooking!”
Jordy was a little agitated at the bottom of his heart, but considering that long period of vegetative state she was in because of him, he softened his voice in saying, “You have just made a full recovery. You don’t need to do this. Besides, you don’t know what I like.”
Angela felt slightly relieved, “Jordy, it doesn’t matter. My body has fully recovered. You don’t have to worry about me.
Jordy said calmly, “Go home. I have a lot of work to deal with and I don’t have time for you right now.”
Angela wanted to stay by his side, but her reason told her not to impose herself on him.
