Chapter 22: Ch.21/ Surprise For Her

Anupama's POV:-

I have been awake for two hours but can not move from my place as someone has decided to trap me in their arms tightly. I want to get up and check on Advira but this big baby is not letting me go as if I will disappear somewhere. I look at the arm that is wrapped around my waist while I am using the other arm as my pillow. I want to caress his face but don't want to disturb his sleep. He is looking so calm right now as if he doesn't have any tension but I know that there is something that is bothering him otherwise he would have never behaved the way he did yesterday. "I am saying that you are my wife, neither a business associates nor a stranger then why do you keep calling me Mr. Bianchi? Why don't you call me Alessandro like I call you with your name?" I have never thought that he will ask anything like that so this comes as a surprise to me.

"Ummm, in our culture we don't call our husband's by their name, It's a sign of disrespect." I answer making him look at me with a blank expression.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I am really not bluffing Mr. Bianchi." I tell him but he only shakes his head before running his hands through my hair.

"I am not saying that you are bluffing, or not to follow your culture but I am the one who wants you to call me by my name so I don't think that it is any sign of disrespect. However, it's up to you and the last decision will be always yours." He answers back.
