I didn't want to make just anyone the Alpha of the Redmoon pack. I didn't trust just anyone. It took me a long time to figure out why that was the case; the Redmoon pack was Judy's home pack. It was where her family and best friend lived.

I wanted someone I could truly trust to run that pack, and because I didn't trust anyone, I did it myself. I told myself and everyone who asked that I didn't pick an Alpha because none of the candidates wowed me, which was partially the truth.
