Chapter 17 Who Is Alex Jefferson

The next day, after sending Stanley to the kindergarten. Alex went to the office.

He had acquired Four Seas Corporation, and it was time for him to manage the company.

“Good morning. Mr. Jefferson!” James, who was on shift, hastily straightened up to greet Alex when he spotted the latter.

Ever since Alex demoted him, he had been resentful. Just the day before, he was about to pledge loyalty to Walt. Yet, before he could do that, he found out that the Wallace family had fallen from grace.

When he found out that Four Seas Corporation was behind its collapse, he immediately realized it had to be Alex’s plan.

Thus, he had no choice but to obediently continue his role as the security guard.

Alex did not spare James a glance. Right as he was about to park his electric scooter, a Maserati Executive GT suddenly drove over and crashed into the back of his electric scooter.

Fortunately, the driver stopped in time. Otherwise, Alex would have been knocked over as well.

Frowning, Alex studied his scooter before realizing that the electric scooter he had been riding for four years had reached its end.

“It looks like I’ll have to buy a vehicle.”

Alex sighed. He was a sentimental man, so he never changed his scooter for something else.

After a glance at the car, Alex assumed that the driver was a novice driver, so he decided to just let the matter slide.

Yet, to his surprise, a beautiful woman came out of the Maserati when the car stopped.

Heads turned when the woman appeared.

She was wearing heels and a skin–tight dress that showed off her seductive figure. A woman like her would be the center of attention no matter where she went.

“That’s Madison Zucker, the star who has been trending recently!”

“I know, right? I heard that the massive franchise, Flair of the City, has her as the lead female!”

“She’s definitely going to be trending for a while again once that show airs.”

The employees, who were on their way to work, were discussing among themselves when they caught sight of Madison.
