Bailey was fine if he didn't want to take responsibility. However, she really disliked how he appeared as though his parents had just died even though he was learning about the news that he had children.

She thought his expression would hurt the children if they saw it.

“Get out of here. Don't show up in front of us ever again. I'll pretend you're dead. From this day onward, whether we live or die has nothing to do with you.”

Simon pursed his lips. Even though this is what I expected, I still feel a little like garbage. No, it's not a little. I do feel like garbage for abandoning my children.

“I'll take care of you and the children's daily expenses. From today onward, I'll pay for you three's living expenses.”

Bailey ignored him and returned to her desk. Upon pulling out a pen and paper, she swiftly wrote down a series of numbers.

Simon was slightly dumbfounded when she handed the note to him. “W-What?”

Bailey crumpled the note into a ball and threw it toward him. “It's my bank account number. Give me exactly three hundred million to make up for the past seven years, no more, no less. If I don't see the money in my card by tomorrow, I'll send the two of them to the Luther residence for you to raise them.”

Simon was rendered speechless. T-Three hundred million? Holy f*ck. She should just hack my brother's bank account instead. She'll be able to grab the three hundred million all at once, and it'll be easier than doing this.

Staring at the bitter and conflicted expression on his handsome face, Bailey raised her eyebrows and asked, “What, you got a problem with that?”

“No, not at all.” Simon promptly stuffed the ball of paper into his pocket. “I'll go and gather the money right away. I hope you'll fulfill your promise as well. Don't cause a mess at the Luther residence and don't ask me to marry you.”

Bailey was amused. What, does he think I can't find another man in this world? Why would I want to marry an idiot like him?

“Get out of here.”

Simon left, almost looking as though he was fleeing the scene. What a gold digger! She's definitely a godd*mn gold digger. In the end, all she wants is the money that I have. No, I can't just stand by and watch my brother marry a woman who's obsessed with money and power. She's not at all comparable to the pure and innocent Rhonda.

After Simon left, Bailey spoke to Zayron. “Tomorrow, I'll send the three hundred million he gives me to your account. Consider it his way of making amends, so don't bother him in the future anymore. He doesn't think about you or your sister at all. I'm guessing he has a girlfriend, so don't go and wreck his relationship. Otherwise, you'll be punished for it.”

The siblings exchanged a glance.

Moments later, Susan jumped in joy. However, after thinking about it further, she withdrew her smile and tugged her brother's shirt, asking in a whisper, “So can I continue to treat Eddy as my daddy?”

He didn't answer her.

In the afternoon, Juliana visited the condominium.

Inside the study, Bailey leaned against a shelf and looked at her coldly. “Tell me, what did you find?”

Juliana blinked and smiled with mischief in her eyes. “I have to say, Beatrice is quite unlucky. The overseas facility she found to fake the paternity test is actually a subsidiary of our organization. I've got all the witnesses and physical evidence. Do I organize a press conference and announce everything publicly now?”

A smile surfaced on Bailey's face. “No need to rush. This isn't enough to ruin them yet. At most, they'll just be attacked by the media for a few days. Their foundation will remain intact. Keep the evidence first. We'll wait for a couple more days for them to execute more of their schemes before dealing with them.”

“Sure. They don't plan to let you go anyway, so they may come up with a new plan if the first doesn't work. Once we collect more evidence of their wrongdoing, we'll submit all of them and send them to jail.”

Bailey glanced at her with a half-smile. “The situation here has been taken care of. Don't you think it's time for you to return to Archulea? If the mercenaries your brother sent to capture you succeed in their job, you may be humiliated.”

“Hmph! My brother is afraid of you. With you around, he wouldn't dare to make a move.”

Concurrently, on the top floor of Luther Group's headquarters, Dwayne pushed the office door open, walked in, and said, “Mr. Luther, I've discovered the truth behind the children's poisoning after you told me to investigate it. Ms. Rhonda was the one who ordered someone to do that. She hid her tracks pretty well, so it took longer than I expected to complete the investigation. Please forgive me.”

Artemis shifted his line of sight from his pile of documents to the folder in Dwayne's hand. With a raised eyebrow, he asked, “This is the evidence?”

“Yes. Do you want to take a look?”
