Bailey shoved her aside and complained, “What's that smell on your body? It's making me feel sick.”

“Smell?” Caridee lowered her head to sniff her own body puzzledly, then shook her head. “There's no smell. I don't use perfume.”

“The smell isn't on your body. I think it's from your mouth. What did you eat just now?”

Caridee scratched her head and smiled sheepishly. “Oh! I had pork chop! It was oily, but it was delicious. I packed a portion for you too!”

Upon hearing about the oily pork chop, Bailey felt her stomach churn violently, and she had to take a few deep breaths to suppress the disgusting feeling.

“Are you all right, Bailey?” Caridee asked.

Bailey looked sick. With a frown on her face and her lips pursed, she shook her head and answered, “I'm fine. You wanted an autograph, right? I'll give it to you now. Do you have a pen and a piece of paper?”

Caridee flinched and looked at Artemis timidly. It was as if she was asking him what was going on.

Artemis stared at Bailey's tummy from the corner of his eyes. I know what those kids have done. Besides, I know how resilient my offspring can be. Her nausea could only mean one thing. Is she pregnant?

“Don't you want an autograph? Get me a pen and paper; otherwise, I'm leaving.” Bailey's voice interrupted the looks the siblings were giving each other.

Flustered, Caridee turned toward Bailey and said, “Huh? Oh! Right. Autograph. I wanted an autograph.”

With that, she searched her pockets for a pen and paper. After a while, she steeled herself and said, “I don't have a pen or paper on me. Should we head back to the mansion? You can give me an autograph then.”

“Some other day.” Bailey turned and walked toward the parking lot. “I have matters to attend to. I'll go back to Shelbert Condominium first.”

Artemis pursed his lips and wanted to chase after Bailey. However, Bailey stopped him by saying, “Don't follow me if you don't want trouble. I'm in a bad mood now.”

Artemis halted in his tracks and watched her leave with a complicated gaze. She noticed it, didn't she? I bet she noticed it. She's such a skillful medical practitioner. How could she not notice it? Why is she acting this way? Did something unhappy come to her mind?

“Artemis, what's with Bailey?” Caridee asked.

Artemis shot her a cold glance and said snarkily, “Don't ever eat pork chop again.”

Caridee was rendered speechless. What the heck?

Artemis ignored her and walked toward the mansion.

After taking a few steps, he texted Zayron: Your mommy could be with child, so she's very moody. Behave yourself and don't make her angry.

Ten seconds later, Zayron replied: Holy shit! She's pregnant? Not bad, Arty! Can you push the limit and get my mom pregnant with quadruplets this time?

Artemis massaged his temples to soothe his pounding head. This kid and his mouth. In a few years' time, he's going to walk all over us.

Bailey drove back to Shelbert Condominium.

When she came out of the parking lot, she bumped into Edmund.

“You're finally back! I was starting to think I had to wait through the night,” Edmund said.

Bailey raised her brows and shifted her gaze toward Lydia. I think I know why they're here. Prior to this, Edmund told me this young girl is a huge fan of Adhira. When she found out that Adhira couldn't take part in the competition, she was infuriated. Now that she knows I'm Adhira, she's going to be all over me.

“You want my autograph?” Bailey asked.

Lydia broke into a bright smile. “You're so smart! You knew what I wanted without me saying it!”

Bailey rolled her eyes in response. Was it even a hard guess to begin with?
