According to Dominic, the medicine formulated by Mr. Mayweather not only could make someone lose part of their memories, but it could also make the consumer fall in love with the first person the consumer saw.

In other words, the most important person in his heart would be replaced, and all his feelings would be transferred to the new person.

Yvette was really looking forward to seeing him falling in love with her the moment he opened his eyes.

“L-Leader, you're awake?”

Artemis slowly sat up and leaned against the headboard. After a moment, he said hoarsely, “I remember getting drunk with your father's men last night and falling asleep after that. I hope I didn't hold up your marriage.”

Yvette was stunned.

She could not figure out his mind.

He remembered everything until last night's banquet. However, she did not know if he had forgotten about Bailey.

Yvette wanted to test him, but she feared Bailey's name might make him regain his memories.

Moments later, two teardrops rolled down her cheeks as she choked out, “The wedding's in two days, but I don't like that man. Leader, you're the one I love. Can you please help me call off the marriage?”

Massaging his temples, Artemis uttered, “I remember you being Micah's fiancée. How is it that you're suddenly engaged to someone else? Who arranged this? I never had the time to ask you this even after coming to the headquarters for a few days.”

Yvette stared at him with shock.

He doesn't remember who arranged the marriage for me. And his memory is stuck at the period when I was still Micah's fiancée? Does that mean he has lost all his memory of Bailey?

Since he had asked that, she naturally would not foolishly say he was the one who arranged it.

If she said that, he would bombard her with questions. By then, she would have to answer many questions, which could trigger his memories.

“It's the headquarters' higher-ups who made me marry that man. Micah wouldn't marry me, so they arranged another person for me.”

When she finished saying that, she held his arm anxiously. Her heart secretly leaped with joy when she noticed he was not disgusted by her gesture.

Looks like he has lost his memories. At least he lost the memories related to Bailey.

“Leader, please help me. Help me call off this marriage, will you? My dead father won't be able to rest in peace if he sees me getting married to a man I don't love.”

Artemis studied her with narrowed eyes, his expression unreadable. After a long silence, he said monotonously, “If you really don't like him, then no one can force you to marry him. If you don't want to get married, then so be it. You're Mr. Sullivan's daughter. I've always respected him. Though he's dead, I can still protect his only daughter.”

Yvette's face lit up the moment she heard that. She threw herself at him and hugged him. “I knew it. You have feelings for me and don't want me to get married to another man, right?”

Artemis said nothing, nor did he push her away.

What she did not see was the cold glint that flashed across his eyes.

She was feeling more certain that he had forgotten about Bailey when he did not push her away. I've entered his life and completely replaced the person he loved. Haha! I'm so happy. Mr. Mayweather's medicine is incredible.

The only thing she needed to do was to build her relationship with him.

When Yvette had become the only thing he cared about, she would instigate him to attack the Saviors and kill Bailey to secure her future.

At the same time, Holden glared at Dominic, who was sitting on the couch in the study. He hissed, “Are you guys trying to rebel? How dare you give Leader a memory loss pill? What are you guys trying to do? Go against your superiors?”

Dominic's lips curled into a malicious smile. “We're doing it for Tarragon's sake. Who does Leader love? It's the leader of the Saviors. How can they end up together when they're enemies? Since Leader can't give up his feelings for her, I had no choice but to get involved by helping him cut ties.”
