Larissa got out of the taxi and walked briskly towards Lana.
Staring at Larissa’s backpack, Lana stretched out her palm. “Where is the visitor’s pass?’
“I don’t have a visitor’s pass.” Larissa said.
Lana’s expression immediately darkened, and she demanded harshly. “Then why did you come here without a visitor’s pass? Are you here to see me make a fool of myself?”
Her brazer atillude annoyed Larissa. She had planned to ask the security guard she met last time to let Lana in, but she had now changed her mind.
“I made plans to meet a friend nearby, so I came here to let you know that I don’t have a visitor’s pass. I’ll be on my way now. You can try calling Mr. Rogers again. Maybe his meeting is already over.”
Suddenly, the automatic doors opened. “Ms. Seymour
The security guard she was acquainted with appeared and greeted her warmly, “Why have you come?”
Larissa quickly put on a smile. “just happened to pass by.”

“Oh?” The security guard was taken aback for a moment and smiled awkwardly. “Well I wish you a pleasant day!”
“Thank you, and you too,” Larissareplied.
Lana watched their pleasant interaction and stopped Larissa as she lumed to leave.
“Larissa, do you know the security guard here?”
Before Larissa could speak, the security guard answered the question in her stead. “No, not It’s the other way around. We all know Ms. Seymour
“Why?” Lana was puzzled.
“It’s a direct order from Mr. Rogers.” the security guard said with a nervous smile. “Mr. Rogers made it clear that no one should impede Ms. Seymour from entering the building; otherwise, our entire department would be at risk of losing their jobs.”

“I am Ms. Seymour’s younger sister. Can you let me in now?” she asked the security guard.
Without a moment’s hesitation, the security guard shook his head. “Mr. Rogers’s order applies only to Ms. Seymour. No one else can be
allowed in unless she keeps you company.”
Lana pursed her lips and squeezed out a smile. She wrapped her arms alleclionately around Larissa’s and pleaded coquettishly, “Larissa, since you’re already here, would you please bring me in?”
Larissa pretended to look at her phone. “I’m going to be late for the appointment with my friend. You should just wait for Mr. Rogers.”
“Larissa!” Lana let go of Larissa’s arm and clung tightly to her sister’s waist like a scala. “Please accompany me inside the building! I won’t take much of your time. You can come back down immediately
