Kevan went downstairs to the nearby convenience store, bought a pack of cigarettes, and lit one. He took a pull and tried to calm himsell down as he answered his phone which had been ringing for some time,
“Is everything taken care of?” he asked coldly.
The person on the other end replied. “It’s done.”
“Both matters are resolved?”
“Yes.”

Kevan lowered his hand and flicked the ash off the cigarelle.
“I transfer the money to your account later.”
He extinguished the cigarette butt and threw the remaining hall-pack of cigarettes along with the lighter into the trash can.
After nearly an hour. Kevan returned, carrying a paper bag with the logo of the Regal Dynasty Hotel He took out the food and placed each item on the small table set up on Larissa’s hospital bed.
Larissa widened her eyes once again.
“So…you went to the Regal Dynasty Hotel to buy lunch?”
Although the hotel was not far from Victoria General Hospital it wasn’t close either. Criving back and forth would definitely cost more in fuel than the delivery less for ordering takeout-perhaps even several times more,
“The nearby restaurants are subpar,” Kevan said with a disdainful expression on his lace. “The lood at the Regal Dynasty Hotel is average. but at least its clean.”
After all the majority of people who come to public hospitals for treatment were regular folks, and the surrounding restaurants had the tendency to focus on offering affordable meals. Naturally, they wouldn’t prioritize their hyalene. Most people here ale merely to 10 their stomachs, and hardly anyone was as picky as him. But when Larissa thought of how much of a clean freak he was, she was very understanding of him, and let go of her doubts.
