“Why Why are you here?” Larissa asked when she finally snapped out of her dare.
“Your phone was switched off, and I couldn’t reach you, so I was worried, I heard from your manager that you followed your stepfather back to Bartham, so I came to check on you.” Kevan explained.
Larissa didn’t think that was the real reason he came. However, regardless of what it was, she was relieved that he was there.
Lana hurriedly ran upstairs. When she reached upstairs, she held her knees to support herself, gasping for air.
“Mr. Rogers, you should leave now! If my parents come out, both you and my sister will be in trouble she persuaded anxiously.
But Kevan didn’t seem to care.
“Actually, I came to look for your parents,” he said.
That surprised both Larissa and Lana.

“Why are you looking for them? Larissa curiously asked.
“Of course, it’s because-” Kevan stopped mid-sentence, revealing a mysterious smile. “Well you’ll find out soon enough.”
He turned to Lana to ask, “Where are your parents now?”
When Lana shut her lips and remained silent Larissa pointed towards the study, saying. Til take you there.”
“Alright.” Kevan put his arm around her waist.
As they turned around, they almost collided with Reuben, who had been standing in the corridor all along.
Squinting. Kevan asked. “And who is this?”
Larissa introduced him, “This is Reuben, the son of Jay Cole’s son. Jay is the president of Summer Entertainment. He has been in the news several times. Haven’t you heard of him?”
“Reuben Cole?” Kevan scanned Reuben from head to toe. “Reuben Cole seems to look quite different from the one I met before.”
His remark made Reuben anxious.
“Perhaps you mistook me for someone else.” Reuben answered.
“Mistook you for someone else?” Kevan’s stare sharpened, which made him extremely uneasy. “Well..”
Looking down from the railing towards the living room. Kevan noticed that Dorian had begun climbing up the stairs at some point.
“Doesn’t Dorian who was just with Miss Seymour downstairs look more like Mr. Cole’s son who attended the event at Soaring Corporation?

Reuben paled at his question, leaving Larissa and Lana confused.
