Jay rushed over to Microworks early in the morning with Reuben in tow, but the security guards stopped him
“Sorry, sir. But no visitor pass, no entry.
Jay did not even know what the hell a visitor pass was. Trying to contain his anger, Jay did his best to speak politely to the quards. “Please inform Mr. Rogers that Jay Cole of Summer Entertainment is here to see him.”
The guards remained unfazed “We don’t have the clearance to go up to the presidential office 1! you want to meet Mr. Rogers, please let him know in person”
Having lived to his current age, Jay had never been humiliated this way before, let alone being disregarded by a mere security guard However, he did not dare to lose his temper while on Microworks turf.
Seeing Reuben playing whatever it was on his phone, Jay’s anger boiled over, and he furiously whacked his son on the back of the head

Hurting. Reuben let out a cry of pain.. “Dad’ What the hell are you doing?”
“That should be my line! I’m literally begging for leniency here, but you’re playing on your phone?! Jay snarled and was about to sn atch his phone while Reuben moved his large body away with difficulty to avoid Jay
“Im not playing!” Reuben argued firmly, “I’m texting Lana through WhatsApp!”
“Lana?” Hearing this name, Jay froze. “Why the hell are you texting her? Don’t you think the Seymours have done enough to us?”
He blamed the Seymours the most for what befell Summer Entertainment. But as they were still useful, he could not fall out with them yet, so he could only vent all his frustrations onto Reuben.
“You don’t know? Lana works here! She said she could get us visitor passes Reuben smugly tried to claim credit from Jay
Jay did not know that Lana worked in Microworks. Upon hearing Reuben said that, he was dubious “Lana can work in Microworks?”
He knew about Lana’s academic background and work experience. A big company like Microworks would only hire the best of the best. He could not imagine what Lana could do as an employee there.
“Dad! Stop looking down on her!” Reuben blinked his beady eyes and raised his many china. pointing to the front. “See? She’s here!”
Lana ran from the elevator area and swiped her card to exit the access gate. She then handed over
the two visitor passes to them.
“Mr. Cole, Dorian,” she called sweetly, pretending not to know that “Dorian” was actually Reuben.
“Nana, thank you so much for today!” Jay said with gratitude.
“No problem!” Lana led them past the access gate before joining them in the elevator.
