Chapter 503

Chapter 503
Kevan went home and look a shower. After charging his clothes, he drove to the cemetery.
Roland had made it clear a long time ago that when he passed away, he wanted to be buried alongside his wille, Jennifer Rogers. He didn’t want her to be buried all alone, it was just too lonely.
His wife’s grave was located on Paradise Hil, on the outskirts of Bartham
Paradise Hill Cemetery was the largest public cemetery in Bartham, with a beautiful view of Denver Lake to the north.
At the loot of Paradise HILL there was a pict cl lend with the best view of the lake.
The area was fully enclosed and designated as an upscale burial ground, cosling wel over ten thousand dollars per square loot.
There were security guards manning the entrance, and some of them patrolled arcund the grounds regularly.
Apart from relatives of the deceased, no one else could enter thase grounds.
Every year, or the anniversary of Jennifer’s death, Keven would accompany Roland to the cemetery to visit her grave.
Kevan could make his way to her grave even with his eyes closed.
Regardless, to put on a convincing act of his amnesia. Kevan called Violet at the entrance of the cemetery. “I’m at Paradise Hill Cemetery. Which area is Grandpa buried?”

At the other end of the cal Kevan could hear solemn and mournful music playing.
It seemed that the burial ceremony was still ongoing.
Violet whispered, “Come to Denver Gardens in the northem section. When you arrive, as the security guard to show you the way. They will tell you how to get here.”
Walking around the foot of the hill, he amved at Denver Gardens in the north.
The guards at Denver Gardens were the same, even after many years, so they recognized Kevan immediately.
When Krvan as sed for directions, the guard was surprised. “Isn’t Old Mr. Rogers buried alongside Old Mrs. Rogers?
“Yes, but I don’t remember,” Kevan explained simply.
The guard’s eyes widened with surprise, but he relented.
Although he was buming with curiosity, they weren’t acquainted well enough that he could chat casually with Kewan.
“Go straight ahead and turn left.”
Following his directions, Kevan arrived at Roland’s grave without much trouble.
From a distance, he could almady see a large group of people.
They were standing in rows with their heads lowered in front of Roland and Jennifer’s grave.
On one side, the hired pianist was playing a somber, classical melody.
Kevan kept a safe distance and watched the ceremony for a while to suppress the overwhelming sadness within him.
Once he managed to get his emotions under control, he strode up to the crowd.
Roland’s burial ceremony today was limited to close relatives of the Rogers lamly as the cemetery was closed off to unrelated individuals.
Kevan hardly interacted with other members of the Rogers family. If his two uncles did not provoke him he wouldn’t even care to deal with
them.
