Kevan remained in front of her though, blocking her path. “And you?” He looked down at her, his eyes calm. One could not see if there was any emotional turmoil within him,
“I need to go back to work.” Larissa brushed past his arm in an attempt to leave.
Kevan reached back to grab her wrist Her arm was so thin that he could practically feel her bones. She was so much thinner than the last time he saw her. His heart ached for her while his anger was also stoked by the lact that she did not know how to take good care of herself. His grip automatically tightened on her.

Larissa hissed in pain.
“Eat first.” Kevan’s cold voice sounded in her ear, his tone showing that he was not to be questioned. The chilling look in his eyes made her feel nervous. He practically dragged her back into the room.
Dylan seemed unsurprised with this result only smiling as he glanced at them blancy.
The waiter arrived with the food a few minutes later, and the three of them sat around the coffee table to eat. They ate quielly without saying anything to each other.

Kevan’s expression became unpleasant. She practically did not touch the bits of lood he gave her. “Eat more,” he ordered.
Larissa was not intimidated by him though. “I can’t eat anymore.” She simply tossed what remained of her meal into the trash can.
Kevan’s anger rose further. He had not yet spoken when his phone suddenly rang-the one that he used for work.
The number was an unknown one. Imitated. Kesan declined the call but whoever it was called again.
