“Huh?”
Kevan rarely apologized, so Sharon thought that she had misheard. But Kevan repeated himself once more. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” Sharon was more curious and confused than demanding to know answers.
“Today’s Incidents have nothing to do with Dylan,” Kevan said. “I was the one who caused them.” He never liked explaining himself to others, but he also did not want his best friend to take the blame for him.
Sharon binked. She could not understand. “Why?” He had no reason to ruin the wedding. He was not familiar with the newlywed couple. and he had no problems with either the Hermes family nor the Davis family. No matter how she looked at it, he seemed to be taking the blame for Dylan.
“I wanted Lana to suffer more.” A sinister look flashed across Kevan’s eyes at the mention of Lana.

After Lana crashed her car into Larissa to hurt her, she became a wanted fugitive after vanishing before the start of her trial, Sharon knew a little about Kevan and Larissa’s relationship. So, it made sense for him to take revenge on Lana for Larissa.
But what he did was really confusing.
“Lana was the one who dumped Lucas. What kind of suffering can she gel?”
To Sharon, breaking up with a partner meant that they had become strangers to one another. The partner’s life had nothing to do with her anymore, and she would not get upset if the partner was having a better life than her.
It just so happened that Lana was the complete opposite of what Sharon was. Moreover, after Lana dumped Lucas to marry Cody, she did not live the rich life she dreamed of. Instead, she made things worse and worse for herself. It did not matter if it was her own body or soul. Both suffered a heavy blow.
After seeing Lucas and Sasha’s sweet happiness through all kinds of media outlets, Lana, of course, felt more and more upset. What Sasha had today should have been hers from the start!
After all Lucas stuck to her like a clingy lizard, worshiping the ground she walked on and saying things like only marrying her.

Kevan’s initial plan was to let Lana into the wedding venue and let her see Lucas being so in love with another woman. He knew how Cody treated her during their mariage-it was just the same as how he treated Ruby before. He was an abusive partner.
Such a stark contrast would definitely drive Lana mad with jealousy. If she had caused a huge scene by going crazy, Kevan could get Dylan to call the police and have her brought to justice.
Kevan said all of this without adding or sugarcoating anything to Sharon,
“But I changed my plan halfway through.” He did not forget to set the record straight for himself. “I didn’t let them let Lana in. I don’t know how she contacted Lucas.”
