The car stopped at the entrance of Larissa’s apartment. Looking at the familiar surroundings, Larissa asked in surprise, “Why are we back here?”
Kevan raised his eyebrows and chuckled. “Were you hoping to come to my hotel? Let’s go then.” He pretended to start the car engine.
Larissa lunged forward and stopped him. With a charming smile, she said, “No, no! Aster’s waiting for me at home!”
Kevan snorted and held her hand instead. “You want to leave? Fine.” He pointed to his cheek. “Give me a kiss, then I’ll let you go.”

“I’m leaving!” Larissa undid her seatbelt and escaped from the car as fast as she could.
Kevan touched the warm spot on his cheek and smiled, his eyes twi nkling.
After she took a few steps toward the entrance, Larissa seemed to remember something and turned back. Through the half-open car window, she waved to Kevan with lushed cheeks. “Well see you tomorrow!”
With a gentle smile, Kevan responded in a soft tone, “Yeah, see you tomorrow.”
