"Anthony I change my mind about going home or to the bar...." he spoke gently not to raise fear in them,"..... take my secretary to a hotel I will come and see you later"

"Bro what's going on?" Anthony asked looking at Daylan through the driver mirror.

"Nothing, just do as I say". Anthony nodded, turning left.

Another car stopped, he was about coming out when Faye held him.

"Mr sage what is going on?" Her eyes begged for answers.

"Why the sudden change of mind?"

"You are not yet okay...." she gesture with her hand towards his bandage shoulder. "....Where are you going to?"

"I don't want to go to the hotel with Anthony.

"Faye...."his eyes bore into her ' just trust me okay?" his finger curled around her slender arms. "Anthony will take good care of you, something came up and I promised to Join you in an hour", Daylan reluctantly decided to leave her for her safety.

He saw the discomfort in her towards Anthony even while they were discussing and the fear of what will happen to him while leaving them.
