Tangled Obsession

Florina's pov

It's been a week and it's feeling like a fucking hell. All my nights are full of tears and loneliness. I miss their warmth, their touches, their scent, it's haunting my mind all day and night. I can't even look at myself in the mirror I look like shit, I have got dark circles under my eyes. since last week I haven't ate a perfect meal. I can't do it, I don't know why but without them it feels so empty.

"FLORA..."

Dad called me from the living room.

"COMING DAD..."

I replied while quickly putting concealer to hide the dark circles. I know whatever dad is doing is to protect me, I can't blame him for not trusting them. He is dad after all. I don't want him to see me like this, I will convince him... No matter how much time it takes...

Getting ready I head downstairs, new mayor of town has arranged a party for me where everyone wanna thank me for my bravery. I should be happy but I can't, god! I was never this kind of miserable.

My dad looked at me proudly. He is praising me all these week for my work. I am lucky to have such a loving father but__

In the beginning people were shocked to see my father alive as they all were at his funeral, I am sure dad has made up some story to shut their mouths. We are living in small town where everyone knows about each other and dad was quite popular due to his friendly behavior.

We reached to the venue, the function is arranged in the famous park of town. I can see some smiling and some jealous faces as we walked in.
