"Hi!" Alaric stepped ahead to appear in Shepard's sight while Shepard met with the people who came to see him and pray for Mrs.Shepard.

“Thanks for coming." Shepard shook hands with Alaric. It shocked Alaric to see how dull and lifeless Shepard looked. He used to carry grace and power whenever he walked around. Now he had his head down and only one sentence on his lips.

“My name is Alaric Fosters," Alaric introduced himself. Shepard thought he was going to leave, but watching him stay made him raise his head and smile at him.
