“Are you girls good here?” I asked as I finished lacing up my black combat boots.

“What exactly do you think you are going to do? Walk around the forest in hopes of finding this meeting?” Penny wasn’t the most. understanding about us leaving.

“Just popped into my head.” I said as I started my car and pulled out of the driveway.

“How was he able to find out the location of this meeting?” Alec asked.

“Didn’t ask.”
