Justin drove at an incredibly high speed. He glanced at the rearview mirror, then turned his attention to Josie. “What should we do if Dexter finds us?”

Josie tied up her hair in frustration. “Can’t you drive any faster?”

Justin remained patient and quickly replied, “Ruby is currently working as a clerk in a small town in Rivodia. She’s diligent and ordinary, just like everyone else.”

“Where is she now?”

“I’ve made arrangements at a small inn where no one will find us.”

Ruby was inconspicuous, so unless someone deliberately sought her out, she wouldn’t attract any attention.

Josie flipped through the documents that Justin had prepared. It seemed that Ruby had been deceived by him. Justin had posed as a superior from their company, claiming that he was taking her on a business trip to Wavery.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Justin hesitated before unlocking the central control. “Josie, I was shocked to discover that Heather is not Liana. If she is an imposter, then who is the real Liana?”

Josie’s eyes swirled, momentarily stumped by the question.

She opened her mouth. “I don’t know.”
