After Eliana made that promise, she couldn’t help but feel worried.

“They kids just transferred to a new school. Wouldn’t it be too much procedures to have them drop out of this school and go back to their old school?” Eliana asked worriedly.

Nana smiled calmly and patted her chest. “Don’t worry. I’ve already taken care of it for you. You just have to take them back to the old school,” she said confidently.

“You’ve taken care of it? What do you mean?” Eliana asked confusedly.

“Well, the kids aren’t registered in this school yet, so it won’t be a problem for them to go back to their old school.” With a smug smile on her face, Nana added, “Actually, I was worried that you might change your mind again, so I just signed them up for trial classes that they could quit at any time. Plus, those classed are cheap.”

Eliana didn’t expect Nana to be so careful. She exclaimed with joy and surprise, “Well done! You made us save a lot of troubles and money!”

Nana couldn’t help but giggle when she saw how anxious Eliana seemed to be about spending money. She teased her, “Eliana, you are a rich woman now. Why are you still so stingy?”

Hearing Nana’s words, Eliana smiled bitterly. “I don’t have any money. A part of the money my mother left for me was used to pay off my debts to Maurice. Some of the money has been invested in the factories. What’s left is really not much. I have to be careful about how I spend money for the good of me and the children.”

Nana heaved a sad sigh when she heard Eliana’s words. She comforted her, “Don’t worry. Things will eventually be alright. We have survived more difficult times than this, haven’t we? You must be tired. Go take a shower and have a good sleep.”

Eliana nodded. Now that she knew the kids won’t have any trouble returning to their old school, she felt relieved. She turned around and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
